Gone are the days when a gender-neutral baby shower has to be pink and blue! Hosted by her mother and mother-in-law during the snowy month of February, this soon-to-be-mom requested an affair that would be an all-white delight! Sparing no attention to detail, the grand room of one of Bergen County, New Jersey’s premier catering locations, Seasons Catering, was transformed into a Winter White Wonderland. From the centerpieces to the incredible dessert table (which yours truly was hired to design!), baby, it may have been cold outside, but inside was all aglow!
All-white roses and hydrangea in a low cluster; faux snow was sprinkled on the table
Extending up from the middle of the centerpiece was an enormous confetti-filled balloon wrapped in white tulle.
White branches in a silver pot gave guests a place to make a snowflake wish for mom and baby!Custom silver glitter snowflake tags were hung with white satin ribbon like ornaments
And now for the dessert table…!
All-white and silver with subtle pops of pale pink and blue made this sweets table a spectacular sight! “Oh Baby” spelled out in giant, oversized balloons were the perfect backdrop.
Smaller white branch trees flanked each end of this enormous sweets table. Each “tree” was adorned with either pink or blue baby booties hung by mini white clothes pins.
M&M candies in pink and blue were served in clear glass vessels that were adorned with rhinestone-studded ribbon. Books and boxes for height were wrapped in white paper and embellished with the same ribbon on the spines for a little bling!

White cake pops were displayed to look like snow on a tree. I sprayed a foam cone from the craft store in silver and glued it to a cake base for sturdiness. Shredded coconut was sprinkled at the base to look like fallen snow.
White chocolate drizzled popcorn was bagged up and arranged in a birdcage for guests to take.
Made to look like a stack of books, the fabulous tiered cake took center stage.
A tuft of snow with white tinsel trees and galvanized lanterns added visual interest to each side of the table.
Here’s a list of sweets that guests were treated to. Candy was ordered online and baked goods were purchased locally.
I love a good, artfully-arranged charcuterie board. In fact, I’ve become quite obsessed with collecting boards of various shapes, sizes and wood types. Charcuterie, which means ‘cooked meat’ in French, is typically a lovely assortment of cured meats, cheeses, crackers and flatbreads, dried and/or fresh […]
Tell me, are you still eating Christmas leftovers and binging on cookies? Or are you ready for a clean start and lighter food? I made this salmon dish for dinner a few weeks back and then I got so busy with the holidays, I never […]
